Yamato Unveils G Series - New Overlock & Safety Stitch Machine

Yamato Europe exhibited at Mini Jiam Show '99 various kinds of new machines. Among of them, this company has recently marketed new overlock & safety stitch machine G series.

G series New Overlock & Safety Stitch Machine

G series, new overlock & safety stitch machine pursuing of higher sewing quality and operating performance, is equipped with new Needle Bar & Looper mechanism improves durability. Soft-Chain mechanism enables high quality stitching and seaming, and Self-Cleaning system produces clean operating environment.

The machine has a lot of new functions & features as follows:

# Special sealed needle bar with sealing ring (Patent Pending)

New G series is equipped with new lubrication system and sealed needle bar mechanism fitted with sealing ring to prevent mixing dust or alien substance. And also upper looper applied special coating improved its durability. (Patent Pending)

# Unique soft-chain mechanism

G series equipped with new needle thread take-up mechanism activated by upper knife, and new looper thread take-up mechanism co-operating with looper timing produces straight and stretchable soft-chain (thread chain) with balanced stitch formation.

It ensures straight and flat finish without puckering and also eliminates ravelling at the beginning of seaming. The narrow and straight thread chain can be obtained, even on 2 needle overlock, so that it is sucked and trimmed smoothly by automatic chain cutter.

# Self-Cleaning system

It is available as option. It eliminates accumulating of dust around the lower knife and the area under stitch plate and ensures clean operating environment. It improves simple and easy maintenance and prevents dust troubles.

# Simple release presser foot system (Patent Pending)

Top feeder machine of G series is fitted with new simple release presser foot system, which can lift up the top feed dog by locking lever with one hand

# TL1: Compact spot light

This spot light for sewing area is designed for easy threading, adjusting looper timing and so on. It takes small space and enough brightness without heating at all.
